About
A weekly draw. A weekly gift. One winner at a time.
Unwritten is a small, honest thing. Every week one person wins the pot. Every week twenty pence in every pound goes to charity. Every week the maths is public, the winner is provably fair, and the free postal route works exactly the same as paying in.
How the kick-off works
Right now we're in the founding draw. Say yes, no card. When enough of us are in we open a short pay window, roughly 72 hours. Nothing pooled, nothing held. Pay through, take your tickets, one of us wins. That single draw kicks off everything that follows.
The split, forever
- Sixty pence of every pound to the winner.
- Twenty pence to Samaritans, our first charity partner.
- Fifteen pence keeps the engine on.
- Five pence carries to next week's floor.
Our first charity partner
Samaritans
Every six seconds Samaritans answers a call for help. Free, confidential, day or night, all year. Twenty pence of every pound goes to them from the founding draw onward.
Then every Friday at 8pm
Once the founding draw runs, the weekly rhythm starts. Same split, same provably fair draw against a public random beacon, same free postal route. No leaderboards. No hyped countdowns. Just one winner, one Friday at a time.
Why we're doing it
Prize draws don't need to feel cheap. Charities don't need to beg. And a small, weekly moment of good news can go a long way. That's the whole idea. Nothing more, nothing less.
